Tax fraud, scams, impersonation of a business or fake messages in the name of the IRS: help us protect the San Andreas economy.

The IRS will never ask you for your password, for a payment through an unknown intermediary, or to pay tax other than through an IRS agent or the irs-rp.com portal. If in doubt, report the message.

1Type of fraud

Tax fraud and scams Hidden income, false return, unregistered business, rigged accounts, scams targeting customers or businesses. Business identity theft Someone is using a business's name, documents or account without permission, or filing in its place. Fake IRS message A message, call or document pretending to be from the IRS: suspicious payment request, fake notice, request for your password.
